DR. FREDDY KAYE'S educational background and work experience have well provided him with knowledge and information to help his clients change to a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Kaye received a Bachelor's Degree from Tulane University, a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Food Science in 1977, and in 1980, he completed his Ph.D. in Education from Florida State University, specializing in Lifelong Learning and Nutrition Education for Adults.
Dr. Kaye's research on weight control and behavior modification was published in 1982 in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. For the eighteen years Dr. Kaye has been on the faculty of the Family Practice Residency Program of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, instructing resident physicians in diet therapy.
Additionally, during 33 years as a clinical nutritionist, Dr. Kaye has maintained a busy private practice. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at Florida A&M University. While a member of The American Dietetic Association, he has lectured to numerous health and professional organizations. Dr. Kaye routinely appears on television talk shows and has been interviewed on CNN.
Dr. Kaye has recently published a new book titled "The Physician's Nutritionist: My Secret to Permanent Weight Loss".
